Carrie played five seasons at UMSL, from 1995-1999, at the forward position and was a two-time all-Great Lakes Valley Conference honoree, earning first team honors as a freshman in 1996 and second team honors as a junior in 1998. She was also named to the first team all-central region team by the NCSAA in 1996. Carrie ranks second all-time at UMSL in scoring with 148 points, scoring 51 goals and recording 46 assists. She is the all-time leader in assists and ranks second in goals. Carrie also ranks fourth all-time in shots (215) and is tied for sixth in game-winning goals (12). Her single season records include: tied for seventh and ranks 10th in goals scored with 17 (1997) and 15 (1998), respectively; ranks second and is tied for sixth in assists with 13 (1999) and 11 (1997), respectively; and ranks sixth and is tied for 10th in points scored with 44 (1996) and 35 (1998), respectively. Carrie tied a school record for assists in a game with four against St. Mary’s during the 1995 season.
