STUDENT-ATHLETE (Baseball)
Pete was a two-year member of the baseball team, playing from 1984-85. During that time, he was a two-time first team all-MIAA Conference selection and earned first team all-region and third team all-American honors in 1984. Pete is UMSL’s all-time career batting average leader (.430) and ranks seventh all-time in on-base percentage (.467) and is ninth all-time in slugging average (.601). He helped UMSL to a 52-33 record in his two seasons with the 1984 team finishing second in the NCAA Midwest Regional.
