STUDENT-ATHLETE (Volleyball)
The only player in program history to be named All-Great Lakes Valley Conference all four years, Sawyer left her mark on the Tritons program. She graduated ranking fourth all-time in career kills (1,140) and was also second in career hitting percentage (.331) and block solos (101), third in block assists (275) and fourth in total blocks (376). She earned First Team All-GLVC honors in each of her first three seasons and was also an AVCA All-Midwest Region pick each of those years, including a first team honoree as a freshman and junior. As a freshman, Sawyer was tabbed the AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year and the GLVC Freshman of the Year. As a junior, she helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament, which was just the program's third.
