Box Score AURORA, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team opened play at the annual Mizuno GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament with a 3-1 win over Hillsdale on Friday afternoon. The Tritons rallied back after dropping the first set, 25-21, to win 26-24, 25-11, 25-21.
Junior
Hannah Miller led UMSL with 12 kills and three blocks, while hitting .500. Senior
Haley Brightwell added 10 kills and 18 digs, while junior
Jessica Ploss chipped in 11 kills and three blocks, including two solo.
As a team, UMSL hit .270 to improve to 11-6 overall, while Hillsdale hit .195, slipping to 7-9.

Lindsay Meyer dished out 41 assists, while senior
Emily Bragaw tallied 21 digs.
The Tritons finished with 57 kills, including 17 each in the final two sets, in which UMSL hit .378.
The Tritons close out tournament play with two matches tomorrow, including a 10 a.m. contest against No. 15 ranked Ferris State and a 4 p.m. match against Ohio Dominican.
