UMSL Sports Hall of Fame

The Athletics Hall of Fame exists to formally recognize and preserve the legacy of individuals and teams who achieved exceptional distinction as UMSL Tritons. Inductees have made a meaningful impact on UMSL and the community through athletic performance, leadership, character, and service. The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to:
  • Celebrate sustained excellence and transformative achievement in competition and athletics related roles
  • Honor individuals whose contributions have elevated the reputation, culture, and values of UMSL Tritons
  • Inspire current and future student athletes through visible examples of excellence, integrity, and commitment
  • Strengthen institutional pride and engagement among alumni, supports, and the broader UMSL community
The Athletics Hall of Fame was created on a joint effort by the Alumni Relations Department and the Athletic Department. There were 12 inaugural members of the UMSL Athletics Hall of Fame who were all inducted during the first induction ceremony on June 9, 2001.

Inductees can be voted into the Hall of Fame under one of three categories: Student-Athlete, Coach/Faculty/Staff, Teams, and Other Contributors. Nomination Criteria can be found here.
