ST. LOUIS, MO. – The No. 3 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team rode a pair of historic milestones by junior
Hannah Perryman on Sunday in a 9-0 victory over Drury in the first of two Great Lakes Valley Conference games. The Tritons also took the nightcap, 7-3, extending their win streak to a program-best 17 games.
Perryman tossed her third perfect game this season in the opener, and the fourth of her career, both of which tie the NCAA Division II single season and career record, respectively. It was also her seventh career no-hitter, fourth most in NCAA DII history. Additionally, Perryman struck out 12, including collecting her 1,000 career strikeout and how has 1,008 Ks.
Offensively, the Tritons belted out seven home runs, extending their season total to 89, which ranks 13
th in NCAA DII single season history. Sophomore
Sara Kern tallied three of those long balls today, including two in game two, after entering the day with just one home run.
UMSL is back on the road next weekend, traveling to No. 10 ranked Indianapolis on Saturday and to Saint Joseph's on Sunday.

Madison Zbaraschuk with an RBI fielder's choice to make it 6-0. Also in the fifth inning, freshman
Jennah Perryman scored on a wild pitch. And then in the sixth inning, Zbaraschuk used a two-run home run to end the game.
Butler and Zbaraschuk each finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Kern, Boudreau and senior
Hannah Wessels all added two hits for the Tritons, which tallied 14 hits in the contest.
Perryman retired all 18 batters she faced, striking out the side twice, to improve to 19-2 on the season.
GAME 2: UMSL 7, Drury 3Kern delivered a two-run shot in the second inning and after the Panthers got on the board for the first time in the third inning with a single run, Boudreau used a two-out two-run double in the third inning to make it 4-1 Tritons.
Another Drury run in the fourth inning once again cut the UMSL lead in half, but sophomore
Alex Stupek delivered a two-run homer in the bottom of the frame, while Kern knocked out a solo shot in the fifth for the 7-2 advantage. Drury tacked on its third run off an UMSL error in the seventh.
The Tritons registered 13 hits, including the two home runs from Kern, who finished with three RBIs. Wessels, Wood, Stupek and J. Perryman all added two hits.
Senior
Brittni Chapman moved to 16-1 in the circle with the complete game effort, giving up three runs, including two earned on 11 hits, while striking out four.
