ST. LOUIS, MO. – Maryville's Nico Andrade converted a penalty kick at the 101:49 mark in the second overtime to lift the Saints to a 2-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon in the regular season finale.
The Tritons, playing their second straight overtime game and the third in their last four outings, slip to 10-6-1 overall and wrap up GLVC play with a 9-5-1 record. UMSL will open GLVC Tournament play on Sunday with a road game at an opponent to be determined.
