INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team saw its season come to an end on Sunday with a 76-63 loss at Indianapolis in first round action of the 2017 GLVC Tournament.
The Tritons close the year with an 11-18 record, while UIndy improves to 16-11 and advances to Thursday's quarterfinals in Evansville, Ind.
Numbers of Note

D.J. White scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead UMSL.

Steven Davis added 12 points on four three-pointers, while also collecting four steals. Davis ends the year with 88 three-pointers, which ranks second on the single-season charts, one shy of the program record. He shot 42.5 percent from long range, seventh highest, while his 207 attempts are a single-season high.
-Senior
Hunter Reine concluded his career with 10 points and five rebounds. His season shooting percentage of 58.9 is seventh on the single-season charts, while his career mark of 58.2 is third highest. Reine also leaves tied for 10
th all-time with a 7.1 rebounds per game average.

Joseph English also finished with 10 points and two assists.
-Junior
Elijah Watson dished out six assists, bringing his season total to 107, tying the 10
th most in program single-season history.
-UMSL shot 37 percent, while UIndy shot 47.9 percent and held a 36-31 rebounding advantage.
How it Happened
Indianapolis jumped out to an early 15-3 lead in the opening six minutes before extending it to 24-8 with 10:19 on the clock. A late 9-2 run brought the Tritons within34-26 on a Davis three-pointer with 1:31 to go before the break, but the Greyhounds scored five unanswered for a 39-26 halftime lead.
After UIndy took a 44-29 lead 90 seconds into the second frame, UMSL embarked on an 11-3 run, pulling within 47-40 with 12:55 to play on a pair of English free throws. The Tritons got within five at 55-50 three minutes later, but the Greyhounds answered with an 11-2 run and never looked back.
