RENSSALEAR, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team tallied 19 hits in two shutout victories on Sunday, sweeping Saint Joseph's in GLVC play. UMSL won by scores of 10-0 and 4-0.
The Tritons improve to 34-12 overall, including 16-6 in the GLVC, while Saint Joseph's dips to 13-31 and 6-19 in the league.
Game 1: UMSL 10, Saint Joseph's 0 (5 inn.)

- UMSL belted out 13 hits, including two doubles each from senior
Ryan Logan and junior
Rachel Matthies.
- The Tritons scored in four of five frames, including five runs in the second.

Carly Kingery (18-6) tossed the complete-game one-hit shutout. She has surrendered just four hits in her last 21 innings of work over a span of five games. Kingery struck out five without issuing a walk.

th career home run to lead off the second inning, tying Brianna Butler (2012-15) for the career lead.
- Hill's RBI groundout in the third made it 2-0, while the final two runs came in the fifth on RBI singles from junior

Andee Tiffee (8-3) earned the win in the circle, tossing the complete game three-hit shutout behind nine strikeouts.
- UMSL totaled six hits, including at triple from Logan and a double from sophomore
Reagan Osborn.
- Hill had a team-best two RBIs.
