ST. LOUIS, MO. – Junior
Jacob Monti delivered a two-run walk-off home run to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team to a 2-0 win over Drury in its season finale on Sunday afternoon. The visiting Panthers won the opener, 4-0.
Prior to the day's games, the Tritons recognized their 11 seniors, including

Zach Lindsay.
UMSL ends the year with a 16-30 mark, including a 10-18 record in the GLVC, while the Panthers clinched the GLVC West Division regular season title, finishing the regular season 33-17 and 19-9 in the league.
The two teams combined for just 17 hits and six runs on the day as both games were a pitcher's duel.
Game 1: Drury 4, UMSL 0
After seven scoreless innings, the Panthers plated four runs in the top of the eighth.
The Tritons were limited to two hits – singles by senior
Tanner Hudson and freshman
Jarrett O'Brien.
Seniors
Kevin Smith and
Zach Lindsay combined for five scoreless innings, while senior
Jon Shanker tossed two scoreless frames before suffering the loss.
Game 2: UMSL 2, Drury 0
Senior
Jacob Renfrow won his team-best sixth game of the season in the complete game shutout victory. He allowed just four hits, struck out two and walked three in his final collegiate outing.
UMSL finished with five hits, including two from sophomore
Tom DeCero.
Senior
Nick Ulrey led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk before Monti came to the plate to deliver the heroics.
