ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team handed No. 3 ranked Lewis its first set loss of Great Lakes Valley Conference play this season, but the visiting Flyers rallied back for a 3-1 victory in the match.
Lewis outblocked the Tritons, 17-10, holding UMSL to .094 hitting to help secure the win.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- A 6-0 run by the Tritons in the first set helped UMSL to the win. After calling a timeout down 18-14, the Tritons reeled off six straight, including five with senior
Madyson Abeyta serving. A kill by junior
Alex Miner later made it 22-19 before the Flyers got within 22-21.
- Lewis outblocked UMSL, 7-0, in the second set, limiting the Tritons to .021 hitting.
- UMSL got within 21-20 in the fourth set, but the Flyers ended the match with the final four points.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

Kylie Rudsinski recorded 13 kills, while Miner also reached double figures with 10 kills and added three blocks and two service aces.
- Freshman
Payton Kennelly recorded 19 assists and nine digs.
- Senior
Danielle Waedekin tallied 26 digs, while junior
Alivia Brinker recorded a season-high 15 digs.
- Senior
Kara Roggemann finished with four blocks.
