QUINCY, ILL. – Senior
Jordan Fletcher scored a season-high 23 points and added eight rebounds and four blocks to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team pick up its third straight win on Saturday with an 80-60 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory at Quincy.
Fletcher, who was playing in her hometown of Quincy, Ill., finished 9-of-13 from the field and 5-of-6 at the free throw line, while also collecting a pair of steals.

How it Happened
UMSL took a 40-30 lead into halftime after owning a 23-9 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Both teams combined to start 0-of-10 from the field with the first field goal coming at 7:29 on a three-pointer from freshman
Alex LaPorta. The Tritons ended the opening frame with an 11-3 run and had their largest lead of the half at 23-6 on junior

Quincy started the second quarter with a 10-2 run to get within 25-19.
UMSL ended the third quarter on a 14-2 run for a 61-42 lead after the Hawks had gotten within 47-40.

Kaitlynn Henning tossed in 12 points each.
- UMSL shot 44.3 percent, including 42.9 percent (9-of-21) from three-point range, and held a 38-33 rebounding advantage.

Alex LaPorta finished with eight points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Shawnta Johnson grabbed eight rebounds and tallied four assists, while Henning pulled down seven boards and collected three steals.
- Quincy was limited to 31.7 percent shooting.

Fletcher moved into eighth place all-time in career scoring with 1,040 points… she is averaging 18.8 points per game in five games played in 2018… Henning notched her third straight double-figure game and is averaging 15 points and 3.5 steals per game during that stretch.
