ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team fell victim to No. 5 ranked Bellarmine on Saturday in a 78-56 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss.
The visiting Knights shot 58.9 percent and outscored the Tritons, 21-6, in points off turnovers. UMSL had a season-high 20 miscues.

How it Happened
Bellarmine took a 40-30 lead into half after outscoring the Tritons, 24-11, over the final 9:30. UMSL was just 4-of-11 from the field during that stretch, while the Knights knocked down 11-of-15 shots.
The Knights opened the second half with a 14-6 scoring advantage to extend the lead to 54-36 with 14:43 to play.

Johnathan Matthews came off the bench to score a game-high 18 points, knocking down 6-of-10 field goals, including 3-of-5 from three-point range.
