ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team sent its 10 seniors out with a win on Sunday as the Tritons defeated Quincy, 2-0, in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
It was UMSL's first win over the Hawks since 2012 when UMSL upset Quincy in the GLVC Tournament semifinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL broke the scoreless game 10 minutes into the second half when senior Kenan Selimovic passed the ball from the middle to the right side where Nick Harper. Harper then sliced the ball to the deep left pocket for his first goal of the season.
- Senior Oscar Gordillo made it 2-0 with 24 minutes to play, converting the penalty kick after Quincy was called for a handball in the box. It was Gordillo's third goal of the season and UMSL's fourth successful PK in five attempts.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- UMSL recorded 13 shots, placing five on goal. Gordillo took five of those shots with two on target.
- Quincy took 14 shots, including four on goal.
- Junior Nedin Kudic made four saves in goal, while playing all 90 minutes. It was his fourth shutout of the season.
