ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team returned to the court on Wednesday following a nine-day layoff, to record an 86-38 win over Oakland City.
The Tritons recorded season-highs of 21 steals and 56 rebounds and had three players in double figures, including sophomore
Alex LaPorta who finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season, while also collecting five steals. Junior
Grace Morrow added a season-best 15 points.

How it Happened
UMSL scored the game's first 10 points and led 20-7 after the first quarter before building a 42-24 halftime lead. The Tritons scored 17 points off Mighty Oaks turnovers and 14 on second chance points in the opening half.
UMSL took a 65-29 advantage into the final 10 minutes and finished the game with advantages of 64-16 in points in the paint, 34-9 in points off turnovers and 24-2 in second chance points.
