ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team used a balanced attack on Saturday afternoon to earn an 82-65 win over visiting Missouri S&T in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

Steven Davis led all scorers with 21 points, while seniors
Elijah Watson (11 points, 12 assists) and
D.J. White (10 points, 10 rebounds) each had a double-double.

How it Happened
UMSL owned a 38-29 lead at the half after leading by as many as 15 in the opening frame.
An 11-4 S&T run early in the second half got the Miners within 46-40 with 14:06 to play, but UMSL answered with the next nine. Missouri S&T battled back to single digits (67-59) with just under five minutes on the clock, but Davis would score nine of the Tritons' next 15 points, including a four-point play.

- UMSL shot a sizzling 69.6 percent in the second half, finishing the game at a 50.9 percent clip.

Eric Dust finished with 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench, connecting on 5-of-7 field goals and 4-of-5 free throws.

Anthony Hughes added seven points, six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal.
