LIBERTY, MO. – Junior
Magnus Anderson notched his second straight game-winner to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team to a 1-0 win at William Jewell Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
After opening the season with five home games, the Tritons were facing their first road test.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anderson one-timed it from inside the box into the far deep pocket off a free kick with 88:01 on the clock with junior Zach Druhe getting the assist. It was Anderson's team-leading third goal of the year.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- UMSL held a 13-10 advantage in shots, including a 9-4 edge in shots on goal. The Tritons outshot the Cardinals, 5-0, in the first half, landing four of their shots on goal.
- Senior Oscar Gordillo had four shots with two on target.
- Junior Nedin Kudic made four saves, playing all 90 minutes in goal. He recorded his second shutout in three starts.
