LEBANON, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team recorded a season-high 17 blocks, but it wasn't enough as the Tritons were outlasted by host McKendreee, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Bearcats won by set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 15-8.
Senior
Alex Miner equaled a season-high nine blocks, while also producing 13 kills, hitting a team-best .370, while junior
Kylie Rudsinski equaled a career-high seven blocks and added 10 kills, hitting .320. As a team, UMSL hit .177.

How It Happened
- The Tritons hit .273 in the opening frame win and connected at a .368 clip in the set four win, while also owning a 5-1 blocking advantage.
- In the set two loss, UMSL led 16-9 before the Bearcats followed with an 11-3 run to take a 20-19 lead.
- In the decisive set, McKendree raced out to an 8-2 lead as UMSL was plagued with four early hitting errors. The Tritons finished the set with two kills to eight errors.
Statistically Speaking
- In addition to Miner and Rudsinski, junior Selena Nolte (13) and freshman Charlotte Richards (10) also finished with double digit kills.
- Freshman Cara Ferchen tallied 25 assists and nine digs, while freshman Megan Woll recorded a match-high 20 digs.
- Senior Alivia Brinker had three service aces.
- McKendree hit .185 and overcame 12 service errors.
