ST. LOUIS, MO. – In its final non-conference tune-up, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to No. 16 Saginaw Valley State on a rain soaked Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cardinals scored a single goal in each half for the two-goal win.
- Saginaw Valley State outshot UMSL, 12-1, including 7-0 in shots on goal.

- Senior Lexi Norton had a header that went high off a corner kick early in the second half.
- Sophomore Amber Hayes made five saves in goal.
