EVANSVILLE, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team recorded a season-high 14 blocks and tallied 87 digs en route to a 3-1 GLVC road win at Southern Indiana Thursday night. The Tritons won by set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 28-26.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tritons hit just .153, but limited the Screaming Eagles to .112 hitting behind their 14 blocks.
- UMSL fended off three set points in the third set before USI garnered the final point to extend the match.
- The Screaming Eagles raced out to a 7-2 lead in the fourth frame and extended it to 11-3 before an 8-2 UMSL run got the Tritons back within 13-11. USI held set point at 24-20, but the Tritons reeled off five straight for the 25-24 advantage before pulling off the win.
- UMSL recorded nine aces and had five service errors, while UIS committed eight service errors.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Freshman
Raquel Kessler recorded a season-high 15 kills, committing just one error to hit .560, and equaled her season-high of eight blocks.
- Senior
Selena Nolte also tallied 15 kills.
- Sophomore
Megan Woll picked up a season-high 33 digs.
- Junior
Kaileen Herman finished with 41 assists, 13 digs and four blocks.
