KIRKSVILLE, MO. –The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team lost a 2-1 decision at Truman State on Friday afternoon as the host Bulldogs scored the game-winner in the 85
th minute.

HOW IT HAPPENENED
Truman notched its first goal just 2:19 into the contest and held the 1-0 lead until the 72
nd minute when junior
Sarah Lyon tied it with her team-leading fourth goal of the season. Sophomore
Mia Milazzo crossed the ball into the box and Lyon beat the Bulldogs goalkeeper to the ball and easily footed it in.
Truman outshot UMSL, 9-7, including 5-3 in shots on goal and had seven corner kicks to the Tritons' five.
Lyon put both of her shots on goal, while Milazzo also had two shots with one on target.
