ROLLA, MO. – University of Missouri-St. Louis senior outside hitter
Selena Nolte broke a 29-year-old record on Friday night, becoming the program's all-time career kills leader as the No. 23 ranked Tritons rallied back for a 3-2 win at Missouri S&T.
With her third kill of the match, Nolte surpassed Carla Addoh's 1,402 kills that she recorded from 1987-1990. Nolte finished contest with 13 kills and now has 1,412.
Nolte helped the Tritons to the 25-21, 19-25, 21-25, 26-24, 15-11 victory, which was UMSL's 26
th of the season, a program-best since the 1993 team finished with a 26-10 record.
Missouri S&T nearly pulled off the upset as they held match point at 24-21 in the fourth set before UMSL reeled off five straight to switch the momentum and force the fifth set.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL hit .210 and totaled 64 kills, while Missouri S&T hit .226 and had 59 kills.
- The Tritons connected at a .412 clip in the fifth set with 10 kills, while S&T had just five kills.
- Both teams had 11 service errors, while the Miners finished with four more service aces (7-3).
- Missouri S&T held a 10-6 advantage in blocks
