ST. LOUIS, MO. – The No. 23 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team swept past visiting Quincy on Friday, 25-23, 25-16, 25-16, in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
With the victory, UMSL improves to 24-3, recording the program's most wins since the 1995 team posted a 25-11 record.
The victory was also the second win over Quincy this season as the Tritons also defeated the Hawks, 3-0, on September 21 to close out the Union University Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL hit .224 in the opening set and ended the frame on a 4-1 run after Quincy erased a four-point deficit to pull ahead 22-21.
- Junior
Kaileen Herman dished out 14 assists in the set two win, helping UMSL to a .275 hitting percentage, while sophomore
Megan Woll tallied 10 digs as Quincy was limited to .089 hitting.
- The Tritons tallied 17 kills in the third set with seven of those coming from senior
Kylie Rudsinski.
- UMSL finished the match hitting .252 with 51 kills, while Quincy was limited to 32 kills and .105 hitting.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Herman dished out 42 assists, averaging 14 per set.
- Woll tallied 25 digs, an average of 8.33 per set.
- Sophomore
Charlotte Richards led the offense with a match-high 15 kills, while senior
Selena Nolte added 12. Nolte now needs 15 kills to become the program's all-time career kills leader.
- Rudsinski added 10 kills and four blocks, while freshman
Mya Elliott had five blocks.
