ROMEOVILLE, ILL., February 14, 2019 – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team shot a season-low 33.9 percent on Thursday night, suffering a 63-49 loss at Lewis in a key GLVC contest.
The Tritons entered the game rated fifth in the league's Point Rating System, used to determine the top eight for the postseason conference tournament, while the Flyers were first.
UMSL, which scored a season-low in points, also committed 18 turnovers.

How it Happened
Lewis took a 37-25 lead into halftime after a pair of first half runs, including a 10-0 spurt that broke an 8-8 tie and an 8-0 run that made it 28-12 with just under nine minutes to go. The Flyers took their largest lead of the game at 35-16 with 4:51 to play.
UMSL got within 45-39 with 8:42 to go, capping a 9-2 run with seven straight, including back-to-back layups from senior
Eric Dust. However, Lewis followed with an 11-4 run to push the lead back to double figures and never looked back.
