ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team recorded 15 hits in a 15-5 game one victory over Bellarmine on Saturday as the two teams opened a three-game GLVC series. The visiting Knights then took game two, 12-2.
The two teams will square off tomorrow at Noon in the final game.

Jarrett O'Brien went 4-for-5 at the plate with three RBIs and two runs scored, while redshirt junior
Derrick Freeman finished with five RBIs on two hits, while also scoring three runs. Junior
Jackson Dvorak added three hits and three runs.
The Tritons scored four runs in the third inning for a 5-2 lead. Dvorak and O'Brien each had an RBI double, while Freeman delivered a two-run triple.
A five-run seventh inning extended the advantage to 11-3 and included an RBI single from Freeman, a two-run single from O'Brien and a two-run homer from sophomore
Josh Shoemaker, the first of his collegiate career.
Senior
Matt Graser notched his first win of the season, going six innings. He allowed three runs on four hits.
Game 2: Bellarmine 12, UMSL 2 (7 inn.)
The Knights took advantage of a 7-0 lead after their first at-bat and then limited the Tritons to just four hits.
Freeman picked up his sixth RBI of the day on a single in the sixth inning.
