INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team opened a three-game GLVC series at Indianapolis on Sunday evening with a 12-1 loss.
 
Records: UMSL (5-19, 4-9 GLVC), Indianapolis (14-10, 7-6 GLVC)
 
The Tritons were out-hit, 12-6, with UIndy scoring in five of seven innings, while also drawing six walks and reaching on four UMSL errors.
 
UMSL's run came in the fifth inning on an RBI single from redshirt senior Brian Seymour.
 
Junior Jarrett O'Brien recorded two hits.
 
The two teams will close out the series tomorrow with a doubleheader at Noon (EST).
