Garrett Bass scored twice to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team to a 3-0 victory at Upper Iowa on Thursday afternoon in the Tritons' non-conference finale.

HOW IT HAPPENED
All three Triton goals came in the first 16:28. Junior
Kyle Coleman notched his first collegiate goal in the seventh minute as his kick from midfield into the box bounced over the head of Peacocks keeper Anthony Velez.
Bass then struck for two goals in a span of five minutes and 27 seconds. His first was assisted by senior
Magnus Andersen, while freshman
Tommy Naumann aided the second.
UMSL put 11 of its 16 shots on goal, while Upper Iowa, which lost its third straight game to a GLVC opponent, finished with 15 shots, including six on goal. The Tritons held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
Naumann took a team-high five shots, placing three on goal, while all four of Bass' shots were on target.
Redshirt junior
Anton Mukhin recorded six saves, while posting his second shutout of the season.
