Box Score SPRINGFIELD, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team lost its first match of the season, suffering a 3-1 setback at Drury on Friday night in the Great Lakes Valley Conference opener for both teams.
UMSL won the first frame, 25-15, but saw the Panthers rally back for set wins of 27-25, 27-25, 25-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UMSL hit .364 in the first set victory, while also recording three aces and outblocked the Panthers, 3-0.
- The Tritons, who had just two attack errors in the opening frame, committed a combined 16 in sets two and three.
- Drury jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the third frame, extending it to 10-4 en route to the win. Drury recorded 20 kills in that set, while UMSL had just eight.
- The Tritons hit a season-low .199, but held an 11-6 blocking advantage as the host Panthers hit at a .184 clip.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

Charlotte Richards (15 kills and 13 digs) and junior
Kaileen Herman (40 assists, 12 digs) each had a double-double.

Megan Woll finished with 17 digs.

Raquel Kessler tallied eight kills and eight blocks.
