ST. LOUIS, MO. – It wasn't the prettiest of wins, but the No. 15 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team found a way to notch a 73-68 victory over Southern Indiana on Thursday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Tritons overcame a season-low 31.7 shooting percent, including just 18.8 percent in the opening half, to improve to 11-0 at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Tritons missed their first 11 shot attempts and didn't net a field goal until the 13:01 mark. The Screaming Eagles took a 34-26 lead into halftime after a first half that saw a combined 23 fouls.
UMSL opened the second half with a 15-7 advantage, capped with six straight points, to tie it at 41-41 on a lay in by junior
Yaakema Rose Jr. at the 14:41 mark.
A three-pointer from junior
Jose Grubbs and another bucket from Rose Jr. gave UMSL its first lead of the game at 46-44 90 seconds later.
USI tied it seven times, including at 64-64 with 3:07 to play, but Grubbs answered with another three and the Tritons made 6-of-8 free throws in the final 52 seconds.

- Junior Shane Wissink tossed in 11 points, going 9-of-10 at the free throw line, including making all four in the final 11 seconds.
