ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's swimming teams opened their home schedule on Saturday with dual meets against Truman State and Lewis. The men swept both teams, while the women bounced back from a loss to Truman to defeat Lewis.
The men picked up a total of 18 wins, including 11 against Truman, while the women won nine, including six against Lewis.
For the men, sophomore
Jon Osa won three individual titles and swam on three winning relays, while junior
Sergio Santisteban also won three individual titles and swam on two winning relays.
For the women, freshman
Maria Serra won three individual events.
