ST. LOUIS, MO. – Senior
Andrew Hayden drove in the game-winning run to cap a three-run eighth inning as the University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team rallied past Davenport on Thursday afternoon in its home opener, which was moved to Maryville's Weber Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UMSL racked up 16 16 hits in the win, including four from sophomore
Mitchel Becher, who finished with two RBI and scored two runs. Becher tied the game in the eighth with a two-run single before Hayden's single with two outs.
Redshirt senior
Derrick Freeman also had two RBI and scored two runs, delivering his first home run of the season in the fifth inning that got UMSL within 6-4. The Tritons had five hits for extra base.
The Tritons pulled within 7-5 in the seventh on an RBI double from senior
Jarrett O'Brien before their eighth inning flurry.
Senior
Dylan Hoelscher picked up the win in one and two-thirds inning of relief work, while junior
Austin Forney earned his first save of the year.
Davenport tallied 11 hits.
