Fall '20 Semester Academics Report Card

ST. LOUIS - The final grades have been tallied for the Fall 2020 semester for UMSL student-athletes and the numbers are once again impressive. As a whole, 234 Triton student-athletes combined for a remarkable 3.48 grade point average, which also sets a new department semester high.

Aditionally, it marks the 15th consecutive semester UMSL student-athletes have posted at least a 3.0 combined GPA and is also the 12th straight at a 3.1 or better and the eighth straight of a 3.2 or higher.

14 of 15 athletic teams combined for a GPA of 3.0 or higher, including eight that combined for a 3.5 or higher.

Women's tennis led the department by posting a 3.90 GPA and was followed closely by women's golf at 3.87. Men's tennis had the highest GPA among the male sports with a 3.588, just edging men's golf at 3.586. Other programs that boasted a combined 3.5 GPA or higher included volleyball, softball, women's cross country and women's swimming.

Individually, 80 percent of student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher and 57 percent came in at 3.50 or higher. Additionally, 73 student-athletes recorded straight A's, with nine of those coming from volleyball.
