The time-tested adage states that consistency pays dividends.

For the UMSL volleyball program, staying true to form may in fact be its 2021 calling card, as the Tritons swept the Findlay Oilers Friday morning at the 2021 Midwest Crossover in Hammond, Ind.

The Tritons outmatched the Oilers, 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

The win pushed the Tritons to 14-4 on the season.

Leading the Tritons were Charlotte Richards, who finished with nine kills, two blocks, and 14 digs.

Paige Yoder had seven kills, and Olivia Klank and Mya Elliott both added six apiece.

Kaileen Herman tallied 26 assists, three service aces, and two kills.

Megan Woll added another six digs and Alexa Rang authored five digs and three service aces.

The Tritons battle Saginaw Valley at 6 p.m. tonight to conclude their opening-day schedule in Indiana.
