The UMSL Tritons left Truman State University with double the reasons to celebrate.
The Tritons swept the opposition, 25-17, 25-22, 25-13 on the road Friday, sure, but senior
Megan Woll entered the match with 1,979 career digs.
Not wanting to come up short, Woll -- in pure Woll fashion -- finished the night with 21 -- putting her at exactly 2,000 career digs as a Triton.
Woll's presence on the court as the team's libero has been vital and has helped guide UMSL to a 12-4 record overall and 7-1 in GLVC play.
The score was knotted up 10 times and there were six lead changes in the match.
Charlotte Richards and
Karlyn Hannewald accounted for 54 total attacks.
The Tritons are back in action Saturday as they head to Maryville.
