The Tritons authored back-to-back sweeps against Maryville and Truman State to conclude the regular season.
On Saturday, UMSL defeated the Bulldogs of Truman State, 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.
The match was equal-opportunity scoring as pretty much everyone had a hand in the win.
Paige Yoder made her authoritative presence known, picking up where she left off just one day ago.
Yoder had three early kills,
Mya Elliott had one, and midway through the opening set, Yoder and
Charlotte Richards alternated kills, and
Karlyn Hannewald joined the fun as well.
In the second, Hannewald,
Olivia Klank, and Richards took their shots, and
Kylie Adams notched an ace, as did Alexa Rang.
Richard and Klank closed out the set with back-to-back attacks.
In the closing set, Richards (kill), Klank (kill), and
Kaileen Herman (ace) opened the 3-0 scoring.
The Tritons never trailed in the third.
The team ends the season 22-7 and now await official seed and times for the upcoming GLVC Tournament (Nov. 18-20) in East Peoria, Il.
