Women’s Soccer Posts Fourth Straight Shutout

SPRINGFIELD, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team picked up its fourth straight shutout on Sunday with a 1-0 win at Drury in GLVC play.
 
Records: UMSL (3-3-2, 3-3-2 GLVC), Drury (3-2-2, 3-2-2 GLVC)
 
Sophomore Brynne Qualley and the Tritons defense were stellar in the second half to persevere the 1-0 lead sophomore Casey Clark gave UMSL with her goal in the 36th minute.
 
Qualley made five of her six saves in the second half, in which Drury held an 11-1 advantage in shots, including a 5-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Panthers out-shot UMSL in the game, 13-7 and 6-3 in shots on goal.  
 
Clark notched her second tally of the season when she picked up the ball on a Panthers throw in before firing from 25 yards out on the left side.
