ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team got back in the win column on Friday afternoon as they defeated visiting Missouri S&T, 2-1.
The Tritons got goals from freshman
Aaron Boulch and senior
Omer Krdzic.
Records: UMSL (5-2-2, 5-2-2 GLVC), Missouri S&T (3-4-1, 3-4-1 GLVC)
Boulch netted his first collegiate goal in the 37
th minute, while Krdzic scored for the second time as a Triton in the 50
th minute. Sophomore
Tommy Naumann assisted on Boulch's tally, while sophomore
Will Cytron aided in Krdzic's goal.
Missouri S&T got ended the shutout in the 72
nd minute.
UMSL held a narrow 8-7 advantage in shots, while both teams had just two shots on goal. The Miners held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.
