QUINCY, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team scored its first two goals of the season on Friday night, but came up short in a 3-2 loss at Quincy.
Records: UMSL (0-2-1, 0-2-1 GLVC), Quincy (1-1-1, 1-1-1 GLVC)
The Tritons struck first as junior
Taylor Imming converted a penalty kick at the 17 minute mark for a 1-0 lead.
Quincy then found the back of the net three times in an 18-minute span in the second half to take the lead.
Sophomore
Casey Clark added a goal in the 71
st minute for the final score.
Quincy held an 11-4 advantage in shots, including 5-3 in shots on goal.
