SPRINGFIELD, MO. – The No. 5 seeded University of Missouri-St. Louis women's basketball team saw its season come to an end on Saturday with a 75-62 loss at top-seed and No. 3 ranked Drury in the 2021 GLVC Tournament semifinals.
The Tritons end the year at 12-8.
How It Happened
Drury shot 56.4 percent in the game, including 70.6 percent in the second half, which allowed them to turn a 13-11 lead after the first quarter, into a 38-21 halftime advantage.
UMSL put together a late 12-2 run in the third quarter to get within 45-37 with 1:35 on the clock. The Panthers took a 53-43 lead into the final 10 minutes.

- Senior Alex LaPorta scored a game-high 20 points and added eight rebounds and six assists.
- Freshman Azaria Hulbert finished with 11 points off the bench.
