ROLLA, MO. – The No. 7 ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team swept No. 12 ranked Southern Indiana on Saturday, but lost a 3-0 decision at Missouri S&T.
The win over USI for the Tritons was their third straight over a ranked opponent.
No. 7 UMSL 3, No. 12 Southern Indiana 0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-21)

UMSL limited the Screaming Eagles to a season-low .029 hitting, while they hit at a .141 clip.

Karlyn Hannewald tallied a match-high 11 kills, while sophomore
Mya Elliott added nine kills, five digs and five blocks.

Megan Woll registered 20 digs and recorded two aces, while junior
Charlotte Richards added 19 digs.

Kaileen Herman finished with 31 assists, 11 digs and two kills.

The Miners out-blocked UMSL, 11-6, limiting the Tritons to .154 hitting. Missouri S&T hit .222.
Richards finished with 13 kills and nine digs, while Woll and sophomore
Lexie Rang recorded 11 digs each.
Herman posted 32 assists.
