Box Score Playing on the road is an arduous task.
No matter the opponent, no matter the venue.
But one wouldn't know that adage to be true when looking at the UMSL Tritons volleyball team, who once again, dropped the opening set at Quincy
Saturday afternoon, only to rally for three consecutive straight sets to take the match 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, and 25-22.
This makes the fourth consecutive win for the Tritons (7-3, 2-0), who are more than ready for Friday's home opener against Rockhurst after spending the first 10 matches on the road.
In the second set at Quincy, the Tritons authored five consecutive points to extend the lead from 14-12 to 18-12 to create the much-needed separation.
UMSL never looked back, keeping its foot on the accelerator.
And, in the final set, UMSL closed out the match on a 4-0 run.
