Two of a kind for the Tritons basketball teams as they completed a sweep Saturday afternoon at Missouri S&T.

Not long removed from the women's 65-48 win, the men took to the hardwood, besting the host, 75-59.

The Tritons went up 41-34 not two minutes into the second half, and extended it to 17 points midway through the half, 58-41.

Minutes later, the lead was 18 points, 69-51.

Marty Jackson led with 18 points and Shane Wissink -- who has been on fire this week -- tallied 17.

Yaakema Rose added 11, as did Jose Grubbs. Isaiah Fuller had 7. Defense was vital today as the Tritons scored 18 points off turnovers.

UMSL are back at home Saturday against Lindenwood at 3 p.m.

The 1971-72 Tritons team is expected to be in attendance and will be recognized.
