To say UMSL senior post player, Kiara Stewart, has kicked in the after burner of late would be an understatement.

Last week, the senior from Kingwood, Texas, averaged a double-double in the Tritons' three wins (one home, two away).

Stewart averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds in the contests, while running up and down the hardwood for 34 minutes per game.

Stewart is the first Tritons's women's basketball player to win the award in 2021-22.
