ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's tennis team was swept in its match against Harding on Friday afternoon at the Forest Lake Tennis Club in Chesterfield, Mo. The Tritons drop to 3-4 while the Bison improve to 7-3.
Harding won all six singles contests in the match.
Jose Mayorga fell to Dani Ortiz 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 at number one singles.
Juan Vigil lost to Teodor Zlatar 6-3, 6-1 in the second singles contest.
Raphael Kerndl was defeated by Cas de Ruiter 7-5, 6-3 at number three singles,
Joshua Mackey dropped his match to Bryce Walker 7-5, 7-5,
Tanin Ramnath lost to Andres Urquiola 6-2, 6-4 and
Pascal Maclean-Wood fell to Edoardo D'Arrigo 4-6, 6-1, 2-10.
UMSL is scheduled to return to the courts on Monday (March 13) taking on Southeastern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m. at the UMSL Tennis Courts.
