WEEKLY REWIND…

Men's Golf
The Tritons opened their fall schedule finishing in a tie for second place at the Arch Cup last Tuesday at Gateway National Golf Club. Dani Solavera and Andy Hennen were named to the All-Tournament team. Solavera finished in a tie for third with a score of 141 to finish at one under par while Hennen shot a 143 (+1) to finish in a four-way tie for fifth.

Women's Soccer
The Tritons went 0-1-1 last week drawing with Ohio Dominican last Thursday and then lost a hard-fought contest against No. 18 Cedarville 2-1 on Saturday afternoon. Rylee Griffith posted a shutout in her first collegiate start last Thursday and Emily Bloomfield had the Triton goal converting on a penalty kick against the Yellow Jackets.

Men's Soccer
The Tritons picked up their first win of the season as it defeated No. 12 (NAIA) Central Methodist 4-2 last Thursday evening to give head coach Josh Alderson his first career win. Devin Livingstone scored twice in the first half to give UMSL an early lead. The Eagles came back to tie it early in the second half but Melo Mensah scored the game-winning goal and Ty Gordon added an insurance goal to clinch the victory.

Women's Volleyball
The eighth ranked Tritons extended its winning streak to eight by going 4-0 at the Flagler Saints Classic last weekend in St. Augustine, Fla. Lexie Rang led the offense averaging nearly 5.5 kills per set while hitting .323. Rang had a career-high 24 kills in the come from behind win over Missouri Southern on Saturday afternoon. Caitlin Bishop handed out an average of 12.4 assists per set and Kylie Adams recorded her 1,000th career dig in the win over Converse on Saturday morning.
