ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished second out of 17 teams with total team score of 864 (298-273-293) on Tuesday at the Midwest Regional Preview at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo.
The Tritons had four players finish in the top 20 at the event led by freshmen
Logan Mayo and
Trigg Lindahl. Mayo finished sixth overall with an even par score of 213 (71-68-74) with Lindahl finishing a shot behind in a tie for seventh at 214 (76-64-74). Sophomore
Dani Solavera finished in a tie for 11th at 217 (75-71-71) and sophomore
Benjamin Berger was tied for 19th at 220 (76-70-74). Junior
Leo Baudry had a final score of 228 (80-74-74).
Missouri S&T's Isaac To was the individual medalist with score of 209 (65-72-72) and Ferris State won the team title with a final total of 857 (292-276-289).
UMSL is back in action Oct. 14-15 at the University of Findlay's Doc Spragg Fall Invitational at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
