FINDLAY, Ohio – The 23rd ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth out of 19 teams with a total team score of 876 (292-293-291) on Tuesday at the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
Freshman
Trigg Lindahl led the way for the Tritons shooting a 70 in his final round highlighted by a hole-in-one on the par 3 190 yard 17th hole. He finished third overall in the event with a score of 211 (70-71-70) and was named to the All-Tournament team. Freshman
Logan Mayo finished in a tie for 16th with a 54-hole total score of 217 (73-70-74). His final round included an eagle on the par 5 520-yard first hole.
Sophomore
Dani Solavera shot a 75 in his final round to finish with a score of 222 (73-74-75), junior
Leo Baudry had a final score of 228 (77-78-73) and redshirt-freshman
Benjamin Berger shot a 231 (76-81-74). Junior
Andy Hennen, competing as an individual, had a final score of 233 (77-77-79).
Grand Valley State's Drew Coble was the individual medalist with a score of 204 (67-66-71) and the Lakers were the team champions with a total team score of 840 (278-281-281).
UMSL wraps up its final schedule at the Nemacolin Intercollegiate next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 21-22) at Mystic Rock Golf Course in Farmington, Pa.
