ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team had its five-match winning streak snapped with a 4-0 loss to No. 30 Indianapolis on Saturday. The Tritons drop to 11-8, 4-1 GLVC while the Greyhounds improve to 10-5, 5-0 GLVC.

UMSL will be the number two seed from the Great Lakes Valley Conference's East Division in next week's GLVC Tournament at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo. The Tritons will take on Rockhurst in the first round next Friday at 12 p.m. The two teams met back on March 2 with the Hawks winning 4-3 at the UMSL Tennis Courts.
UIndy won the first singles matches as Tyffaine Pais beat Domingo 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles,
Emma Bridges fell to Jimena Hernando 6-0, 6-1 in the number six singles contest.
Aleksandra Lopez lost to Maria Fiacan 7-6, 6-0 and Lietzau was beaten by Benedetta Sensi 6-3, 6-1. The number three singles match between
Hannah Tse and Ana Hollweg was tied at a set apiece while the fifth singles between
Anna Favaron and Valentine Colin saw Colin leading 1-0 and 4-1 in set two when the match was clinched.
