WEEKLY REWIND…
Men's Golf
The No. 22 Tritons finished fifth out of 17 teams with a score of 844 (285-285-274) at the National Preview last Monday and Tuesday in Boulder City, Nev.
Dani Solavera finished in a tie for 11th overall with a score of 209 (72-70-67).
Women's Golf
The No. 19 Tritons finished sixth out of 16 teams with a score of 930 (312-314-304) at the Beall Fall Classic in Findlay, Ohio last Monday and Tuesday.
Wilma Zanderau finished ninth at the event with a score of 228 (77-76-75).
Volleyball
The Tritons extended their winning streak to six with road wins over Upper Iowa and Truman State last weekend.
Maggie Johnson hit .405 with 35 kills in the two victories.
Men's Soccer
The Tritons went 1-0-1 last week. They opened the weekend with a scoreless draw against McKendree on Friday and then defeated Illinois Springfield 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Jack Franklin made eight saves on the weekend.
Women's Soccer
The Tritons went 1-1 last week defeating McKendree 1-0 on Friday but had its seven-game unbeaten streak snapped with a 1-0 loss to Illinois Springfield on Sunday.
Maddie Clark scored the game-winner in Friday night's contest.
Cross Country
The Triton cross country teams were in action on Saturday at the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojan Invitational. The Triton men won the event with 23 total points with
Will Kaempfe picking up his third individual win of the season. The Triton women had three runners finish in the top 15 led by
Hannah Richardson who was seventh overall.
Men's Tennis
The Tritons fell to crosstown rival Maryville 5-2 on Friday afternoon at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Daniel Berdecio and
Henry Roberts picked up wins for UMSL.
Women's Tennis
The Tritons swept Maryville 7-0 on Friday afternoon at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Hannah Tse went 2-0 in the dual match.
