LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Missouri-St. Louis senior middle hitter
Iyannah Jackson added another accolade to her resume, being named the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) DII National Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Jackson is the second player in program history to earn the honor, joining Kaileen Herman who received the honor in the Spring 2021 season.
Jackson was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week after averaging 5.13 points, 4.63 kills and 0.88 blocks per set while hitting .557 in eight sets played. She had a career-high 24 kills against Maryville on Saturday afternoon.
The Tritons are back in action this weekend traveling to UIndy and Lewis for its final two road matches of the regular season.
